We will create a sustainable and environmentally friendly development

• The ability to live and work in the area will reduce the overall need to travel and make the development more sustainable.
• At 144 hectares, the development will regenerate one of Scotland’s largest brownfield sites, reducing the need for greenfield land releases elsewhere.
• It will create a new mixed use area providing commercial, leisure and retail and community floorspace, essential to build a sustainable community.
• Each building will be designed to reduce its energy use, and carbon footprints will be benchmarked against other comparable buildings;
• Historic buildings and artefacts that form part of the area’s maritime heritage will be restored.
• Developments will be within 400 metres of a bus stop and 700 metres of a tram stop
