The development will provide training and education opportunities for local people

• Accommodating business from start ups to national headquarters, the development will create opportunities to develop centres of excellence across a range of industry sectors
• In partnership with Edinburgh City Council, there will be investment in training programmes that support the new and increased employment opportunities locally.
• A site of 1.7 hectares is included for a school further adding to the sense of community with contributions being made towards provision of education facilities.
• Restoration of the site’s Listed Buildings and Scheduled Monuments will go ahead allowing public access to these important reminders of Leith’s world-renowned heritage.
• 14,000 square metres of space is designated for public buildings which may encompass the arts, museums or other cultural activities.
