  • The development will create 11,600 jobs with a further 10,100 construction jobs being created across the 30 year development period.
  • There will be almost 16,000 new homes with 25% being affordable housing.
  • Over 100,000 sq metres of new office floor space will be built and will be capable of accommodating anything from small businesses to major headquarter development.
  • 23 hectares of land will be retained in industrial use.
  • Growth in the Scottish economy of £248 million is expected each year.
  • Up to £28 million per year additional council tax revenue and a further £28 million additional business tax revenue will be generated.
